Program Overview
Our BA in Scriptwriting is designed for aspiring storytellers to master the art of writing for film, television, and digital media. Under the mentorship of produced screenwriters, you’ll develop your unique voice while learning industry-standard techniques to structure engaging narratives, create memorable characters, and write sharp, impactful dialogue.
From feature films to TV pilots, you’ll graduate with a professional portfolio and the skills to pitch your work confidently in the competitive entertainment industry.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualificatons
• Minimum: 1 A-Level (Grade C or above) or Level 3 Diploma in English/Creative Writing/Film/Media.
• Alternative: Relevant experience (e.g., creative writing, theatre, blogging) + interview
Submit one of the following:
• A 5-10 page screenplay excerpt (any genre).
• A short story (max. 2,000 words).
• A treatment (1-2 pages) for an original idea.
• Discuss a screenwriter, film, or TV show that inspires you.
• Demonstrate your passion for storytelling.
English Language
• IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) for non-native speakers
• No formal qualifications? Mature students (21+) may apply with a strong writing sample.
